Equine Sound Healing is a form of therapy that involves working with horses to promote emotional and physical well-being. Our hearts fall into regulated rhythm with theirs, allowing our cortisol levels to even out, deepen and regulate our breath, and in some cases release oxytocin. Sound therapy, which involves the use of specific sound frequencies to promote relaxation and healing (such as a sound bath with Himalayan song bowls or tuning forks) has many benefits including less stress and anxiety, and a connection on a soul level for both horse and individual. The various techniques and frequencies all have the same intention: to move us and the horse from a place of imbalance to a place of balance.
